Position Summary
This position supports CityFleet's software, including its fuel terminal information management system, diagnostic software, access controls software, enterprise asset management software, and document management system. The position will also participate in the work of CityFleet's Data Strategy Team to establish the priorities and mechanisms for developing and managing analytic resources. These include data, metrics derived from data, data storage and retrieval systems, and data-delivery platforms and tools
What you will get to do:
- Provide support including but not limited to configuration, analysis, troubleshooting, migration, implementation, and administration of these systems
- Collaborate with system vendors to identify and resolve technical issues
- Manage bureau technology projects
- Assist customers with requirements gathering, business process design, and review of current configurations
- Provide technical customer support to end users
- Track systems issues and document solutions under routine supervision

To Qualify
The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:
- Knowledge of methods and techniques used in the installation, troubleshooting, upgrading, configuration, and problem resolution of software and other information systems.
- Ability to design, test, implement, manage, and support complex technology solutions.
- Ability to apply principles and techniques for information technology project planning and management and to act as a liaison between business and technical teams.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to a wide variety of audiences; present information, proposals, and recommendations thoughtfully, clearly, and persuasively; and develop and deliver end user training and documentation.
- Ability to apply analytic and problem-solving skills to develop sound decisions, and recommendations.
- Knowledge of methods, techniques and best practices used in data and metadata management and the development of analytics.
Although not required, ideal candidates will have k nowledge of business functions and administrative rules, policies, and regulations that govern City functions, particularly those supported by software, and the ability to analyze, interpret, explain, and apply them.

Step 2: Minimum Qualification Evaluation: September 19-September 21, 2023
- An evaluation of each applicant's training and paid and unpaid experience, as demonstrated in their resume and supplemental questions, weighted 100%.
- Your résumé and responses to the supplemental questions will be the basis for our evaluation of your qualifications for this position. Incomplete or inappropriate information may result in disqualification.
Step 3: Establishment of Eligible List: by September 26, 2023
- Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications will be placed on the equally ranked eligible list.
Step 4: Selection (Interview): late September
- Hiring bureau will review and select candidates for an interview
- Please note, the selection process may take up to 90 days from the notification of being placed on the eligible list.
Step 5: Offer of Employment: early October
Step 6: Start Date: mid October
- A start date will be determined after all conditions of employment have been met.
